Keeping Multiple Blogs Updated

blog.founddrama.net on the iPod touchImage by found_drama via FlickrIt can be difficult keeping just one blog up to date, but some bloggers maintain multiple blogs at a time. Some bloggers try to manage multiple blogs, but it ends up making all of the blogs unsuccessful. Quality matters when it comes to blogs and if quality is compromised to keep up with the quantity needed, it doesn't always work.
One of the most important things to do when trying to keep up with multiple blogs is managing time. Bloggers need to budget their time and make sure enough time is being spent on each blog. Some of them may need more updating then others so how time is divided will depend on the bloggers. A blog that is made up of opinions and thoughts, are usually easier than a blog that requires research. Also, one blog may have to be updated every day while another only has to be updated weekly. Bloggers may want to schedule out specific time to spend on each blog in order to keep them all update and successful.
Keeping blogs up to date is always a big deal, especially for a blogger trying to update multiple blogs. If blogs aren't updated readers may find other blogs to read. The internet is fast paced and people will no longer wait a long time to get their update if they can get it somewhere else. Managing time and setting a schedule for updates is the best way to keep multiple blogs updated.
A lot of time when people take on too much work and are struggling to keep everything updated they take ideas from other people. There is nothing wrong with getting ideas and inspiration from other blogs as long as all content is original. Blog readers look forward to reading unique posts. If a blogger maintains multiple blogs that are all similar, they still need to make sure each of them has completely original posts. Plus, if one reader follows the multiple blogs and the blogs seem repetitive, the reader will end up choosing to only follow one of the blogs in the future. Readers do not respond well to information that is not original.
Creative bloggers that know how to manage their time can successful manage multiple blogs and keep them all running successfully. If a blogger cannot keep up with all their blogs, they may have to make a decision to bring in help or get rid of one blog.
